Location: Troutville, VAPay: $31/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some weekends based on production needs)Employment Type: Direct Hire

Now Hiring Experienced Equipment Operators!Qualified Staffing is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for a cement and aggregate operation in Troutville, VA. This role supports daily material production by operating heavy equipment and crushing systems safely and efficiently.

We’re looking for someone with previous crushing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work outdoors in a heavy industrial environment.
What You’ll Do

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, and water trucks
• Run and monitor crushing, screening, and conveyor systems
• Inspect equipment and material flow to ensure safe, consistent production
• Adjust crusher settings and assist with material sampling as needed
• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment
• Keep work areas clean by shoveling around belts, crushers, and stockpiles
• Complete safety inspections, equipment logs, and daily reports
• Support plant and pit operations including setup, adjustments, and material handling

What We’re Looking For

• Previous crushing or screening plant experience required
• Experience operating heavy equipment in mining, aggregates, or construction settings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Knowledge of safety practices in industrial or MSHA/OSHA-regulated environments
• Ability to work outdoors in dusty, noisy, or extreme weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime or weekends when production demands
