Lead Automation Technician
$31.50 – $39.00 an hour (OTE: $92,000 – $115,000) + $1.25 Shift Differential + Overtime + Progression + Training + PTO + Holiday + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life Insurance + 401K + Other Excellent Benefits

Are you a maintenance professional with strong PLC, VFD, and industrial experience, looking for a role where you can lead from the front while remaining hands-on and significantly increasing your earnings through regular overtime?
This opportunity offers ownership of maintenance leadership within a high-volume machining environment, where your controls and electrical expertise will directly support production performance. You will lead an experienced team while receiving ongoing training on complex CNC and automated equipment unique to the business.

This position relies on your ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, VFD-driven equipment, and industrial electrical systems, while directing maintenance manpower to meet production requirements. You will work closely with management to prioritize repairs, plan improvement activities, and support continuous improvement across machining operations.
This role would suit a controls-focused Technician or Supervisor who enjoys solving complex automation problems, mentoring technicians, and maximizing total earnings through strong hourly rates and consistent overtime.
The Role:
• 2nd Shift.
• Provide direct leadership to maintenance manpower supporting machining production.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
The Candidate:
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within maintenance or controls.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, industrial electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Background in industrial or automotive manufacturing, ideally within machining or CNC environments
