Our organization is currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Family Medicine Physician to join the Capital District Family Medicine team. Capital District Family Medicine, located at 1440 Western Avenue, Albany, NY, is eager to welcome a new Physician to its vibrant team of healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care, demonstrate outstanding clinical and communication abilities, and have a passion for mentoring and supervising advanced practitioners.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS:
- This facility serves as a primary care hub for individuals seeking medical providers, with a significant portion of referrals coming from the ER for patients without established primary care.
- Shared call rotation is approximately once every 70 days, supported by RN triage.
- The organization is governed by physicians and features a physician-led Joint Oversight Committee.
- Flexible scheduling options are available, allowing for both Part-Time and Full-Time positions.
- Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APP) is essential and offers an additional compensation opportunity.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified.
- New York State licensure is required.
- DEA registration is necessary.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Our organization offers a competitive base salary along with earning potential through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.
- Salary range for Full-Time positions is between $250,000 and $260,000.
- The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other forms of cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
- A starting bonus of up to $75,000 is available for Full-Time positions (pro-rated for Part-Time).
- A retention bonus of $25,000 is offered for Full-Time roles (pro-rated for Part-Time).
- Compensation for residents is available, up to $50,000 per year for early sign-on.
- An APP oversight stipend is available for collaboration and supervision.
