Description

We are seeking a versatile Float Pool Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing support across various pods, with a primary focus on the breast pod. The ideal candidate will have triage experience, and an oncology background. The ability to work independently and handle challenging situations with resilience is essential.

  • Provide Triage and Patient Care: Deliver triage support and patient care across multiple pods, including breast, GYN, neuro, and others, ensuring timely and effective patient assessment and care.
  • Float to Different Pods: Move between different pods as needed to fill in gaps and ensure comprehensive patient care across various specialties.
  • Work Independently: Manage your workload and make decisions autonomously, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations.
  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Must-Haves

  • RN License: A current and valid Registered Nurse license is required.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Triage: Candidates must have at least two years of experience in triage nursing, demonstrating their ability to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and make critical decisions.
  • Oncology Background: Experience in oncology nursing is needed, providing valuable insights into the care of cancer patients and enhancing the overall quality of patient care.
