Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity awaits for an experienced Imaging - Cath Lab Tech in Opa Locka, FL. This contract position focuses on advanced cardiovascular procedures in a busy, well-equipped cardiac catheterization unit situated on the 2nd floor of a leading healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional coronary catheterization procedures, including structural heart and peripheral interventions
- Operate and maintain sophisticated equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips imaging systems
- Collaborate closely with cardiology teams to provide critical care during EP studies and cath lab interventions
- Document procedures accurately using the Meditech system
- Respond to call requirements for evenings and weekends, contributing to patient care continuity
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory
- Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist required
- Proven experience in catheterization lab settings with exposure to interventional coronary and peripheral procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate patient care approach and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
- Day shift coverage with call responsibilities for evenings and weekends
