Research Analyst (Audience Measurement & Ad Sales Analytics)
This role supports the Audience Measurement team in partnership with Sales, with a focus on audience currency management, upfront negotiation support, and revenue-aligned campaign reporting. The Research Analyst will work across multiple measurement vendors and ensure accurate, sales-ready insights are delivered to support business decision-making in a fast-paced Media & Entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Ad Sales and Measurement teams with currency comparisons, reconciliations, and conversion analyses for upfront negotiation cycles.
- Manage multi-vendor audience measurement outputs and perform comparisons across Nielsen, VideoAmp, iSpot.tv, and Comscore to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Track and validate campaign billing, delivery, and currency alignment across DDL and alternative measurement providers.
- Own campaign pacing, billing validation, and post-campaign reporting, including revenue recognition inputs and final wrap reporting packages.
- Compile and synthesize metadata, campaign materials, and measurement outputs into sales-ready insights and client-facing deliverables.
- Support updates to measurement methodology documentation and sales enablement materials.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis across currency vendors and audience measurement systems to support Sales strategy and decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in audience measurement reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Audience Measurement, Ad Sales Analytics, or Media Research within Media & Entertainment.
- Hands-on experience supporting Ad Sales, Audience Measurement, or Revenue Analytics teams (not media planning or activation).
- Direct experience with currency reconciliation, vendor comparisons, and upfront support workflows.
- Proven experience with campaign billing validation, pacing, and post-campaign reporting tied to revenue outcomes.
- Experience working with multiple measurement vendors, including: Nielsen, VideoAmp, iSpot.tv, Comscore
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Macros
- Ability to translate complex measurement data into clear, sales-ready insights and presentations.
- Strong understanding of Media & Entertainment industry metrics, workflows, and ad sales processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Exposure to revenue reporting, forecasting, or media monetization models.
