A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Manchester, NH, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a Contract School Year (CSY) role. This opportunity involves providing targeted support to students with special needs, ensuring their academic growth and individual success within a K-12 educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12-14 students focusing on small group instruction in reading, writing, and math.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress.
- Serve as a Case Manager, coordinating services and maintaining compliance with special education laws and regulations.
- Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with K-9 students, including small group instruction in literacy and mathematics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective case management.
- Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Commitment to collaboration with educational teams and families.
Location & Schedule:
