Salary Range:
$72,000 - $80,000 per year


Job Description:
As aPositive Support Professional (Behavior Analyst), you will conduct individualized functional behavior assessments and collaborate with individuals to develop and monitor person-centered, positive behavior support plans. You’ll work directly with staff and caregivers to implement strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the quality of care for those we serve.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Behavior Assessment: Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Support Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Training & Collaboration: Provide instructional learning to staff and caregivers to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Plan Evaluation & Modification: Regularly assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.
  • Team Development: Supervise and train other positive support analysts and specialists.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet at least one of the following education and licensing requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or a related field, OR a Ph.D. in behavioral sciences.
  • At least 4,000 hours of post-master’s clinical experience.
  • Active license in psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing under relevant Minnesota statutes.

Additional skills:

  • Expertise in person-centered, positive behavior support strategies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
