We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products. You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed in accordance with product specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products.
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to execute necessary tasks.
  • Adhere to welding safety procedures and utilize provided PPE.
  • Complete other duties as assigned in a job shop environment where all products are designed to order.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Knowledge of shop math.
  • Competence in using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A welding degree or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic welding and fabrication shop equipped with 20 welding bays, some shared during the 1st shift. The role requires standing for 2 hours at a time, with breaks every 2 hours for 10 minutes. The first shift starts at 6 am, with breaks at 8 am, 10 am, and lunch at 12 pm. The shift ends at 2:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
