What does a Business Analyst do?

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the critical bridge between our business units, vendors and technology teams. Your role is to listen, understand, and translate the needs of our subject matter experts into actionable requirements that drive efficiency, innovation, and member satisfaction. You will be the advocate for the business units, ensuring that solutions align with strategic goals and operational realities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are critical to success.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst conducting business analysis activities and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience working with all levels of staff, management and vendors.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Foundational experience in Project Management
  • RFP and Vendor Selection experience - required
  • Experience creating wire frames - preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Visual Demands: Visual acuity to do things such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Lifting Demands: Up to 10 lbs.
