Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support an elementary school in Lancaster, PA. The position will run on a contract basis for a full school year, starting August 18 with student services beginning August 25 and concluding June 9. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Contribute to creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Knowledge of current assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
