  • Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operating Equipment: Operating vacuum trucks, pumps, hoses, and high-pressure water systems to extract water from storm drains, tanks, wells, and separators.
  • Transport and Disposal: Transporting collected waste-water or sludge to approved disposal sites, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintenance & Inspection: Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning the truck after jobs, and maintaining hoses, pumps, and vacuum systems.
  • Job Site Safety: Following all safety protocols (OSHA), including using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), managing traffic control, and identifying potential hazards.
  • Documentation: Completing daily logs, waste manifest reports, and job tickets.
  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • License: Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
  • Experience: Previous experience operating vacuum trucks, hydrovac equipment, or working in industrial cleaning/environmental services.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50–60 lbs and work in all weather conditions, including wet, humid, and extreme heat.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements,

  • Outdoor Conditions: Working in outdoor environments (construction sites).
  • Physical Demand: Involves standing for long periods, bending, and working in confined spaces.
