Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide skilled psychiatric nursing care in an adult forensic/intensive setting, specializing in co-occurring disorders. This contract position requires deep experience and comfort working with adults facing complex mental health and substance use challenges. Start dates are fixed on January 5 or January 19applications without availability for these dates will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with psychiatric nursing experience
- Proven expertise in adult forensic or intensive psychiatric nursing
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to mental health workers ensuring safe care delivery
- Strong understanding of co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to address complex patient care needs
- Collaborate with a team to identify patient and group interventions
- Oversee and mentor mental health workers in therapeutic, safe care practices
- Support patients in stabilization, withdrawal management, and education towards recovery
- Participate in a 24-hour care program designed to promote healing and maintain sobriety
