Blue & Co., LLC, is a dynamic and innovative accounting firm that provides growth-committed entrepreneurial clients with accounting and consulting services. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of success, we seek a dedicated Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager or Senior Manager to join our Louisville, Kentucky office. In this role you will help drive our strategic growth initiatives while delivering exceptional client service and providing strong guidance and mentorship to our existing staff. This role will also support practice growth through industry knowledge, client support and community relations, and business development activities.
Job Duties:
- Provide accounting and finance services and leadership to our clients across a wide array of industries, including entrepreneurial small businesses, construction, and beverage.
- Provide internal support for our clients with day-to-day accounting duties and provide oversight and strategic direction in financial decisions.
- Management and oversight of the production and presentation of financial statements and results.
- Build and expand relationships with clients and community contacts, contributing to the overall growth of the Louisville office and the firm.
- Develop and maintain insightful analytical reports.
- Drive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies.
- Timely responsiveness to client inquiries.
- Proactively work with tax teams to provide tax planning and preparation support.
- Plan and manage workflows, scheduling, and training of staff and senior accountants within the CAS Practice.
- Perform various other duties to support the continued growth and success of the CAS Team.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of current or recent public accounting experience.
- Strong accounting software skills, including QuickBooks (required).
- Some sales tax and payroll tax experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead a team, execute on strategy and develop team members
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize engagements, and supervise/motivate staff
- Well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, attentive to detail and possess solid interpersonal communications skills.
