Supervisor, Clinical Informatics
DonorConnect is currently seeking a full-time Supervisor, Clinical Informatics. This position will assist in the supervision, management, and training of Clinical Informatics staff. Oversees daily operations, ensuring that Clinical Informatics team members are working in accordance with regulation and industry standards. Uses expertise to ensure data integrity for new, and existing, clinical data sources. Oversees imminent and eligible classifications, donor potential determination, DNR submissions and data auditing for clinical teams. Oversees other informatics initiatives such as referral automation or similar projects. The Supervisor, Clinical Informatics will work with clinical teams to ensure the integrity of data entered by clinical staff. Use expertise to ensure data integrity for new and existing clinical data sources. The position will oversee imminent and eligible classifications, donor potential determination, DNR submissions and data auditing for clinical teams. Also, manage iReferral rollout and implementation with hospital partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
Training/Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical informatics required, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- RN required
- ICU experience preferred
Experience Required:
- 4 Years in critical care nursing
- Experience with MS Office 365 applications
- Minimum two years project management experience (preferred)
- Experience leading a team (preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated environment (preferred)
- Experience working in a healthcare setting (preferred)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Valid driver license
- Familiar with medical language, critical care conditions, testing, lab values, potential outcomes, normal and abnormal physiology
- Ability to assess medical narrative and review medical records
- Ability to use various business equipment, including telephone, computer, printer, etc.
- Ability to write clinical or technical narrative effectively
- Strong planning and analytical capabilities
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
