Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst Senior to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in Mayfield, Ohio, and involves managing complex procurement processes for IT goods and services, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and compliance standards. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and optimize vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that align with cost goals, technical requirements, and risk mitigation objectives.
• Manage procurement activities from gathering business requirements to obtaining contract approvals while coordinating with legal, risk, and IT teams.
• Negotiate and analyze vendor contracts to ensure they meet organizational needs and comply with legal standards.
• Lead cross-functional bidding processes, including Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Quote (RFQ).
• Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes by leveraging industry best practices and technology trends.
• Attend stakeholder meetings to capture requirements for new purchases, renewals, and competitive bids, providing detailed meeting records and action items.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal teams to facilitate smooth contract execution and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain accurate contract data and ensure the integrity of procurement records across all systems.
• Consult with Vendor Managers to evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Stay informed of industry standards and regulatory changes to enhance sourcing processes and compliance.• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and negotiate contracts.
• Proven ability to manage procurement processes and projects, including vendor coordination and sourcing.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, including knowledge of industry best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Solid understanding of supply chain logistics and procurement systems.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools and other technologies to track sourcing and contract performance.
• Skilled in research, policy development, and consulting to support organizational goals.
• Ability to travel occasionally, typically once per quarter, as required by the role.
