Job Description

We’re partnered with a leading global biopharmaceutical manufacturer seeking a Material Handling Specialist to support plasma logistics operations within a regulated GMP environment.

This role plays a critical part in the plasma supply chain — overseeing the receipt, storage, classification, and movement of raw plasma materials used in life-saving therapies.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with warehouse or logistics experience looking to step into the pharmaceutical sector and grow within a global leader in plasma-derived medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload plasma shipments from donor centers and verify material integrity.
  • Classify, inspect, and record plasma units in the Plasma Management System (SGP).
  • Operate forklifts and Radio Frequency Terminals (RFT) to track and manage inventory.
  • Support classification and quality inspection processes, ensuring cGMP compliance.
  • Identify and remove unsuitable plasma units and maintain proper storage conditions.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized cold-chain warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with peers to meet production and distribution goals.
  • Work occasional overtime as needed to support supply continuity.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or FDA-regulated industry preferred.
  • Must have basic math and computer skills and the ability to multitask in a warehouse setting.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (2–8°C) and lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.
  • Strong reliability, communication, and teamwork skills.

Why Join This Opportunity

  • Work directly with one of the world’s leading plasma therapeutics manufacturers.
  • Gain hands-on GMP experience in a critical link of the biopharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Opportunity for career growth and advancement into higher-level logistics or supervisory roles.
  • Competitive pay and benefits with long-term stability.
