An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to provide critical care support in a progressive acute care setting. This contract position offers the chance to work in a well-established 47-bed facility serving Northern New Mexico, supporting a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Location: White Rock, NM

Responsibilities:
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in the operating room, adhering to best practices and safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety before, during, and post-operation
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures
- Respond promptly in emergencies and assist with rapid interventions as needed
- Comply with state and facility regulations, including completion of required certifications and background checks
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with Operating Room specialization
- Must possess all required certifications prior to assignment (certifications must be verifiable offsite)
- Ability to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance
- Must be willing to comply with state-mandated fingerprint background check and supervision during waiver period
- Experience working in acute care or surgical environments strongly preferred
This is a contract assignment with orientations scheduled weekly to ensure smooth onboarding. Candidates located 60 miles or more from the site will be considered under travel provisions.
