$150 – $200 per hour (Based on Experience)
Contract Duration: June 13, 2026 – June 21, 2031 (5 Years)

GlobalPoint Inc. is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists to provide onsite psychiatric physician services for a long-term federal healthcare contract in Central Alabama. Physicians will provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support veterans receiving mental health services.

Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-call coverage required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Psychiatrists will provide comprehensive psychiatric care including:
• Psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis
• Development and management of treatment plans
• Medication management and follow-up care
• Inpatient and outpatient mental health services
• Collaboration with clinical staff and healthcare teams
• Documentation in electronic medical record systems
• Participation in peer review and quality improvement initiatives
Physicians will deliver psychiatric care consistent with national standards established by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Minimum Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in any U.S. state or territory
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to meet federal facility credentialing requirements
Health & Credentialing Requirements
Candidates must meet standard healthcare compliance requirements including:
• MMR vaccination or titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
• Varicella vaccination or titer
• Tuberculosis testing
• Annual influenza vaccination
Additional training requirements include HIPAA and Privacy/Security training as required for federal healthcare facilities.
