Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with local and national codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and safety practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Valid electrician's license in the state of Texas.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
