- Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
- Pay: $2100 weekly gross
🧠 Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy for adult inpatients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor outcomes to support optimal patient recovery and health.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for adult inpatient populations
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans
- Manage and monitor patients receiving enteral and parenteral nutrition (TPN)
- Write and update nutrition orders in accordance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on dietary plans and nutritional needs
- Monitor patient progress and document interventions in Epic
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
🎓 Requirements & Certifications
- Recent inpatient adult acute care experience (within last 6 months, non-internship)
- Experience with enteral & parenteral nutrition (TPN)
- Skilled in nutrition order writing
- Proficient in Epic charting
- Must cover adult inpatient population
Certifications & Licenses:
- RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian)
- WA DOH-CD License (Washington State)
