We are hiring for an experienced Carpenter at our Shaker Heights Location. We are growing quickly with fantastic career opportunities. Our projects are located within approximately a 10-minute drive from our office, ensuring minimal travel time for our team. Pay is based on experience and qualifications and is negotiable.
Job Summary

Karlovec & Company is a 30 plus year old award-winning, high-end Design/Build Remodel firm located on Cleveland’s near east side. Our focus is concept to completion renovations, additions and whole-house remodels. Kitchens and bath projects are hot this year. If you're willing to learn, are organized, communicate well and work safely we could be a good fit for each other. Requirements
- Team player who will work well with Project Developer, Lead Carpenter and the whole crew
- Performing job and carpentry, and other tasks with guidance
- Reliability, and reliable transportation
- Wearing appropriate cloths and safety equipment at all times
- Maintaining a safe, clutter-free, protected job site
Skills
- All kinds of carpentry with focus on finish work and cabinetry
- Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Professional positive interactions with clients, supervisors, peers, and trades
- Adapting to change
Qualifications
- Must have 5 plus years of experience as a residential carpenter
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation
- Pay dependent upon experience and skills
- High school degree or equivalent
- Finish carpentry skills a big plus
- Understanding of the residential remodeling and construction processes, especially historic homes
- Acceptable background check
