The Strategic Account Manager-West will be responsible for leading customer relationships, retention, and growth across the Western U.S. and British Columbia. You’ll represent one of the most recognized names in gaming — and help shape its next chapter as we blend trusted “Bee”® brand products with Bee-Tek™ technology solutions.
What you’ll do as a Strategic Account Manager:
- Sell value in what others might see as a commodity
- Elevate the conversation from product to partnership, showing customers why what we make and how we deliver it, truly matters.
- Bring the curiosity and technical acumen to sell-in new Bee-Tek systems that modernize the casino floor.
- Working closely with leadership, you’ll own key accounts, drive profitable growth, and use data-driven insights to influence decisions.
- Combine strong relationships with conceptual selling and strategic storytelling that help customers see the bigger picture.
PLEASE NOTE:
1) This role will be supporting our U.S./Canadian West accounts as far north as Vancouver (BC), and as far south as Arizona. The ideal candidate will be located in the U.S., in order to successfully travel the majority of the territory’s accounts.
We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager with:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years' experience in B2B sales, in related industry and/or type of accounts (preference in hospitality, entertainment, F&B)
- Ability to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed
- Experience with strategies for customer retention, to build and develop our accounts in a win-win result
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and functional groups (retention goal of 95%)
- Experience with building, and negotiating contracts, in order to attract and win customer commitment, while maintaining Cartamundi revenue goals
- Experience using a CRM to track al customer account information (preferably Salesforce)
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Motivated by collaboration and creative problem-solving
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
The position requires employees to apply for and earn licensing in required gaming jurisdictions. Physical requirements and working conditions:
- Must be able to travel 50 percent of work time to customers and tradeshows (see note above regarding the region)
- Ability to work overtime and evening hours engaging customers; occasionally on weekends with short notice (for required customer events)
