Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED, VSM).
  • Identify and eliminate waste (Muda) in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to analyze current state processes and design future state improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Lean metrics and KPIs to track performance and progress.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on Lean principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Lean transformation and sustain improvements.
  • Design and implement standardized work procedures to ensure process consistency and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience applying Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM) in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision making; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to train and influence cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or advanced statistical analysis software.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project leadership experience.
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 initiatives or automation project implementation.
