Our organization is in search of a dedicated full-time Anesthesiologist to provide exceptional care to our Veteran patients. The selected candidate may be required to deliver services in a variety of environments, including the operating room, endoscopy suite, invasive radiology, CT and MRI facilities, catheterization lab, and the emergency department.

The primary responsibilities of the Anesthesiologist encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee all facets of medical care, offering support to residents and/or mid-level practitioners in evaluating and treating surgical and endoscopy patients who need anesthesia.

• Conduct patient evaluations to monitor any changes in physical and mental health, documenting progress notes in the patient's medical record. These notes should also reflect agreement with any entries made by residents and mid-level practitioners, as applicable.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers both within and outside of their service line, as well as with other VHA facilities or community healthcare providers, as dictated by the veteran's care plan.

• Work to minimize obstacles for Veterans and staff, thereby fostering a supportive work atmosphere and nurturing positive relationships with colleagues, peers, and Veterans.

• Participate in shared on-call duties with fellow anesthesiologists.
