Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the first semester of the upcoming school year, supporting students and staff through two back-to-back maternity leaves. This full-time role spans from August 4th through the end of December, offering 37.5 hours per week over five weekdays, with a consistent schedule that allows you to immerse yourself in the school community.

You'll initially support an elementary school site serving approximately 500 students, collaborating with faculty and families to provide essential psychological services. This assignment will enable you to build strong relationships and make an immediate, positive impact on student well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure required
  • Experience working within school settings, ideally at the elementary level
  • Strong assessment, observation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with a range of school personnel and parents

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Develop appropriate intervention and treatment plans
  • Consult with educators and families regarding student needs
  • Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as necessary
