Controls Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and controls, particularly in PLC programming and HMI development, to enhance operational efficiency and safety in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems for industrial automation processes.
- Develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, including hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing processes and equipment.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on control systems and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages.
- Experience with HMI development and design.
- Familiarity with crane systems is a plus.
