Job SummaryWe are seeking an X-Ray Tech/MA to join our team! Must be a California licensed X-Ray Tech(Limited License OK) with MA experience as well. We are a busy urgent care that has been in business 15 years. We have part-time and full-time positions available. Must have weekend availability, especially Sundays. Supervisory/Lead experience a plus. Bilingual preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
- Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
- Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
- Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
- Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
- Splinting, DME placement
- Blood draws, point of care testing, IM injections, TB skin tests, ear lavages, triage
Qualifications
- Current CA X-Ray Tech license-Limited OK
- Medical Assistant certificate or state license
- 1+ years of experience in an urgent care or PCP setting
- Ability to draw blood, administer IM injections, TB tests
