Title: Construction supervisor/manager

Location: Quincy, WA


Summary:

  • The main function of a construction supervisor/manager – production is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. Position is for Integration PM Services during pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • These services support deliveries of a functionally complete and operational datacenter that fulfills the business capacity demands and performance requirements as detailed in the project contract documents (i.e., construction plans, specifications, DRB, schedules).
  • The project support should be for 18 months in duration from time of contract activation with the option to extend. The nature of this project requires all personnel hold an active TS-SCI with FSP.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
  • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
  • Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.


Skills:

  • Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.


Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 5 -7 years experience required.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $150000– $170000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
