The nursing process is utilized to deliver patient care effectively. The Registered Nurse maintains professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients and assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. This role involves coordinating patient care alongside other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Position Details:Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in nursing.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
    • Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, including but not limited to:
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
      • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
      • CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
      • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
      • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
      • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
      • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules)
      • C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
      • Other unit-specific certifications as necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • The role necessitates the ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat is essential for performing job duties.
