A contract position is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to provide support at an elementary school site in Naperville, IL. This role involves working with elementary-aged students, with a strong focus on behavioral needs. The position is a backfill opportunity requiring an experienced and reliable candidate capable of quickly adapting and contributing to the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with behavioral challenges and support individualized learning plans.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and site coordinators to implement classroom strategies.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance academic and social development.
- Maintain a positive, structured environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
- Holds current paraprofessional certification.
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings or directly with behavioral interventions.
- Reliable and committed to working the full schedule of five days per week.
- Ability to adapt quickly and take initiative as this is a backfill role requiring immediate contribution.
Hours and Location:
- Position is based within an elementary school setting in Naperville, IL.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
