Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team. The idealcandidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials to ensure the smoothoperation of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts- Collaborate with vendors to obtain the best terms for purchases- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions- Work closely with internal teams such as Logistics and Materials Management to optimize supplychain efficiency
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices- Excellent communication skills
