We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our awesome and amazing team!

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns and all related documents.
  • Research federal, state, and local tax legislation to assist partners in tax preparation.
  • Host in-person or over the phone client meetings.
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a timely manner.
  • Assist with workflow management and supervise staff and interns on engagements.
  • Supervise and maintain control over the tax and accounting processes.
  • Have previous financial statement accounting knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Experience using Lacerte and QuickBooks.
  • Have strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Familiar with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous preparation and review knowledge for individual, partnership, and corporate returns.
  • Have strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Have strong organizational and management skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in tax or accounting firm

We have a staff of 12-20 depending on the time of year. We are a very team oriented firm and looking for another member to join.
