Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4
- Utilize EMR systems (Cerner) effectively for accurate documentation and coordination of care
- Apply BLS and ACLS protocols competently, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain scrupulous infection control and safety standards while adhering to facility guidelines
- Demonstrate adaptability with floating assignments as needed within the unit
Qualifications:
- Current TN RN license required
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; 1-2 years in Stepdown or ICU preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (ARC or AHA approved)
- Comfort working night shifts (7 PM 7 AM) in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to floating responsibilities without block scheduling or on-call duties
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify
