Who we are looking for:

A highly detail-oriented and self-motivated individual that enjoys working with people, problem solving, multi-tasking, constant change, and assisting with ensuring daily processes flow smoothly. This position will be focused primarily on recruiting and talent acquisition, administrative support, and processing, with some employee support. Come be a part of a fast-growing company!

Main Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Post and manage job requisitions, schedule and conduct interviews, communicate with applicants throughout the interview process, and oversee pre-employment requisites
  • Maintain accurate applicant and employee files and documentation
  • Conduct and assist with employee onboarding/offboarding; processes across company interfaces
  • Facilitate and oversee employee wound certification; CWCA/CWS/AWCC
  • Assist with payroll and compensation duties; process administrative personnel changes, assist in managing time and attendance, and process bi-weekly payroll
  • Update, advise, communicate, and coach on HR Policies and Programs; ensure policies/programs are consistently administered in compliance with professional standards, state and federal requirements and laws
  • Assist with employee relations issues
  • Assist with the management and administration of PTO, Holiday, CME, and Leave programs
  • Ensure employee compliancy; annual required training, licensure, background checks
  • Compile, analyze, and prepare data for various reporting and tracking
  • Work closely with benefit broker to manage and administer overall employee health benefit program and annual open enrollment
  • Assist with the organization of Company Annual Summit
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills required to succeed:

  • 3+ years experience working within human resources and talent acquisition (medical industry preferred)
  • Experience working in ADP WorkforceNow (preferred but not required)
  • Acute attention to detail with strong critical thinking, problem solving, and self-sufficient work ethic
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations (multi-state)
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent telephone etiquette – professional demeanor
  • Excellent organization and use of time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work load and have a strong sense of urgency when time sensitive situations arise
  • Computer savvy; Intermediate proficiency using MS Suite: Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel
  • Proficient navigating within multiple software applications
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently
  • Must be trustworthy, honest and have a positive and professional attitude

Location: Puyallup – hybrid position (some remote)

Compensation: $29.00 - $33.00 hourly -DOE (bonus potential)

This position is classified as: Hourly, Non-ExemptFull-Time employment

Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm PST
