Job Title: HR Coordinator – Recruiting Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Vice President, Human Resources
Location: Onsite at our Kent, OH or Marietta, GA offices. Remote / work-from-home options may be considered based on experience.
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base $50,000 - $55,000 plus recruiting bonus structure.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Coordinator – Recruiting Specialist to guide and manage full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple departments and locations. This position plays a critical role in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent to support our company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and results-driven, with a passion for finding the right people for the right roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from job posting to offer acceptance for a variety of roles including technical, administrative, managerial and field-based positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and design effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates using a variety of tools (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, ATS, social media, etc.).
- Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, schedule and coordinate interviews, and provide feedback and support throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Monitor time-to-fill metrics, cost per hire, and recruitment funnel performance.
- Manage the offer process, background checks, and pre-employment onboarding steps in collaboration with HR teammates.
- Track and report on recruitment incentives and retention metrics.
- Participate in career fairs, job fairs, and other employer branding efforts.
- Create and maintain recruiting marketing strategies.
- Collaborate on onboarding improvements and early retention efforts for new hires.
- Cross train in all human resource functions to provide back up and support to HR Team.
- Assist in other human resources projects and activities, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or talent acquisition (in-house or agency).
- Proven experience managing full cycle recruiting processes across a variety of roles and departments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (i.e. ADP Workforce Now), sourcing platforms like LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple open requisitions and shifting priorities.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for company events, conferences, etc…
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting in the security, technology, or construction industries.
- Familiarity with incentive-based recruiting structures.
