Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company financial transactions.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate reporting for management.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and provide insight on financial trends.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and data entry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
