Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and talented Mid Level Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming spaces by developing furniture specifications, creating detailed drawings and renderings, and collaborating closely with sales and management. Duties
- Support project teams throughout design development, order entry, and installation phases
- This role works closely with the sales team, clients, architects, and project managers
- The position is responsible for developing furniture layouts, product specifications, and presentation materials while ensuring designs align with project budgets, schedules, and client objectives
- Create 2D and 3D typicals, renderings, furniture plans and specifications accordingly using CET and 2020 Worksheet
- Work in partnership with manufacture teams to provide finish samples, product discounts, custom products, etc.
- Stay knowledgeable of new and current product offerings and design trends
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial furniture dealership (design)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, 2020 Worksheet is required
- Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of commercial furniture systems and product application
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
