Position Summary:

The Verge Therapy PT+ clinician position serves Verge clients seeking individuals, couples, and families seeking outpatient therapy. The position is hybrid and requires flexibility based on client needs. Clinicians must have reliable transportation to the office and be willing to work with youth and families. PT+ clinicians will receive regular clinical supervision to support professional growth as well as scheduling and maintaining employee status. Clinicians take initiative in serving their caseload of clients by assessing needs, creating and implementing treatment plans, and supporting client goals and progress. Clinicians will see a caseload meeting productivity requirements of at least 20 billable hours per week.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality clinical care to a caseload of clients provided to you by Verge Therapy
  • Perform initial diagnostic evaluation of client needs and develop customized treatment plans
  • Provide weekly or biweekly therapy sessions using appropriate modality of treatment
  • Submit client progress notes on a timely basis using EMR system
  • Provide clients and families with the resources they need to reach treatment goals
  • Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other agencies, providers, and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services and continuity of care
  • Complete continuing education courses to maintain Massachusetts licensure requirements and stay up-to-date on the latest practices
  • Communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Assess client safety each session and complete safety planning or recommendations as determined by assessment
  • Adhere to safety procedures including immediate reporting or client safety concerns
  • Attend required meetings and supervisions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent preferred).
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of MA.
  • Experience providing affirming, culturally competent care to diverse populations.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based interventions, with a willingness to continuously adapt and grow.
  • Commitment to relational, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; committed to authentic, transparent, and compassionate communication.
  • EHR proficiency and strong clinical documentation skills.
