Speech Language Pathologist Part-time or FT

At Pinewood Nursing Center, we are committed to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients, and we're seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team on a part-time or PRN basis. As a PRN therapist, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule while making a difference in the lives of seniors by helping them regain their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist at Pinewood Nursing Center, you will be responsible for:

Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans

Providing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to our patients

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians

Documenting evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Educating patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies
Requirements:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY considered

Prior SNF or geriatric experience is a plus

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
