Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
We are seeking a Surgical Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing patients, rooms and equipment for pending surgical procedures. You will also assist during those procedures as part of a team of operating room professionals.
Shift: AM (6:45am-5:15pm)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms
- Ensure all equipment needed for the procedure is properly disinfected and assembled
- Check to ensure equipment is in working order
- Please sterile solutions in areas where they can be easily reached by doctors
- Prepare patients for surgery
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and observing their status
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
