This is a union position, pay and benefits will be based on the collective bargaining agreement.
Job Specifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. OSHA 30 and CPR/1st Aid certificates preferable prior to hire.
Experience:At least 5 years of related solar experience required, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Travel: This position will be a traveling position and will require extended time away from home.
Objective:To oversee the solar civil and/or post installation process to ensure the projects/tasks are completed to meet customer and LCI expectations.
Nature and Scope
Job Environment: This position requires time in the field as well as in the yard/office. Being prepared for
all types of weather is a must. The position will require overtime and weekend work at times to meet the needs
of each project. This position will require extensive travel.
Relationships/Management: The position will interact with all levels of personnel within the company including union and non-union employees, administration, other department managers and support personnel, and will interact with external sources such as vendors and suppliers.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and direct construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site reviews to inspect construction progress and identify any potential issues.
- Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed according to plan.
- Utilize construction management software, including ProCore and HeavyJob, to manage projects and track progress.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that construction work meets safety and quality standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee the civil construction process.
- Oversee the installation of pile and properly perform QA/QC inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure that construction work is done according to design specifications.
- Ensure that construction sites meet OSHA safety standards and that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Collaborate with construction estimators to ensure that projects are properly planned and budgeted.
- Identify and address any potential issues or risks that may impact the project.
- Provide training and guidance to construction team members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Valid drivers license.
- Strong knowledge of solar construction principles and practices.
- Experience with GPS set up and monitoring.
- Familiarity with construction management software, including ProCore and HeavyJob.
- Experience with quality control procedures and OSHA safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents.
- Physical stamina to work on construction sites.
