Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local Omaha company to hire full-time carpenters across multiple shifts. If you take pride in precise measurements, clean cuts, and top-tier craftsmanship, this role offers steady work, great projects, and pay up to $25/hr based on experience.
A day in the life
You’ll kick off your shift reviewing building plans and specs, mapping out your cuts, and setting up machines and tools for efficient production. Throughout the day, you’ll fabricate components, install on site, and coordinate with your team to meet timelines—always with safety and quality at the forefront.
What you’ll do
- Measure accurately and run equipment to cut materials to spec
- Operate a range of hand and power tools
- Use equipment, materials, and supplies safely and correctly
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Carry out skilled construction tasks from verbal and written instructions
- Handle physical work: push, pull, and carry materials as needed
What you bring
- Previous carpentry and/or construction experience (required)
- Excellent measuring and layout skills
- Proficiency with power tools
- Team-first mindset and strong communication
- Ability to perform under deadlines
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
