Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about accuracy in financial data? Do you thrive in structured, deadline-driven environments and enjoy supporting analytical teams? If so, NADA is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team!

In this role, you’ll enter and validate extensive dealership financial statement data that powers NADA’s industry-leading 20 Group financial composites and special studies.

This is a full-time, onsite position in Tysons, VA, offering a collaborative team culture, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter large volumes of automotive and truck dealership financial statement data with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the creation of monthly 20 Group financial composites and assist with special studies and ad-hoc data integration tasks.
  • Verify all data prior to entry and follow established edit procedures to ensure clean, reliable datasets.
  • Collect, organize, and format data while collaborating closely with the Financial Composite Analyst team.
  • Provide month-end support to the composite data analyst team as needed.
  • Identify data gaps and help resolve discrepancies or missing information.
  • Conduct quality checks and audit completed datasets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for data sources, systems, and processes.
  • Develop an understanding of data flow and financial composite creation to enhance effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Provide light administrative and program support as assigned.
  • Deliver timely and accurate status updates and uphold NADA’s core values.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; undergraduate coursework or degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with data entry, data accuracy, or data operations in a professional environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to review, interpret, and evaluate financial data.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula functions, formatting, and linked worksheets.
  • Ability to reconcile, integrate, and standardize data from multiple sources.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear documentation for data processes and sources.
  • Comfortable learning the business context and purpose of financial composites.
