About the Role
As a Tree Care Groundman, you’ll be the backbone of our tree service operations. You’ll support climbers and equipment operators, help maintain a clean and safe job site, and assist in trimming, chipping, hauling, and general groundwork. You'll be working outside in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with tree removals, pruning, and stump grinding operations
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tree care equipment
- Drag and chip brush, cut wood, and maintain a clean work site
- Support climbers by managing ropes and ground operations
- Load logs and debris into trucks and haul material from site
- Ensure all work follows safety protocols and company standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Enjoys working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or tree care is a plus (but not required — we train the right people!)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus or willing to get the CDL within 6 months)
- Safety-minded, dependable, and a team player
