Job Summary:We are seeking a Mail Clerk to provide temporary coverage for a team member on leave. This role supports ADP and is responsible for handling daily mailroom operations, including processing inbound and outbound USPS mail and packages. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in mail operations, be comfortable with standing for parts of the day, and able to lift and handle packages using standard mailroom equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process incoming USPS mail and packages
- Handle outbound USPS mail, including postage processing
- Operate postage machines and mailroom equipment
- Load and manage mail carts for delivery or dispatch
- Ensure timely and accurate mail distribution within the facility
- Maintain organized and efficient mailroom operations
- Support the team as needed during the temporary assignment
Required Skills:
- Experience in mailroom operations or a similar environment
- Familiarity with USPS processes and postage machines
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer and equipment handling skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a corporate or administrative mailroom setting
- Knowledge of mail sorting and distribution practices
