We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused DMV Registration Specialist to join our growing 5 star registration services business. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of California DMV rules and regulations, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to efficiently process vehicle-related transactions while delivering a positive customer experience.
This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to guide customers through often complex DMV processes with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients with DMV-related transactions in a friendly, patient, and professional manner
- Process California DMV registration services, including but not limited to:

- Vehicle registrations and renewals
- Title transfers
- Out-of-state registrations
- Duplicate titles and plates
- VIN verifications (if applicable)
- Smog and fee verification
- Ensure all transactions comply with California DMV laws, rules, and regulations
- Accurately review documentation for completeness and compliance
- Collect fees and process payments accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding requirements, timelines, and next steps
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions
- Resolve customer questions or issues efficiently and professionally
- Stay current on updates and changes to California DMV policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with California DMV transactions (DMV office, registration service, dealership, or similar environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of California DMV rules, regulations, and registration processes
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn DMV-related systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a licensed DMV registration service business
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
- Experience handling cash and electronic payments
- Familiarity with DMV Business Partner Automation (BPA) systems
