Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) and school-based licensure is needed for an Extended School Year (ESY) position in the Pottstown area. This contract opportunity supports high school students requiring speech and language services during the summer months.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure or eligibility as a School SLP
• Experience providing therapy to adolescents in a school setting
• Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Pottstown, PA, serving a high school population
• Extended School Year contract duration
• Approximately 20 hours per week during the ESY program

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
• Provide individualized and group therapy targeting communication goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure continuity of services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development as required
