    Manage the daily operations of the children’s residential program, ensuring the delivery of services that promote individual growth, health, and safety for all residents.

      Implement and ensure compliance with all Crystal Springs, federal, state, and funding agency policies. Monitor the quality of services provided, implement improvements, and ensure that care is delivered according to best practices and organizational standards. Conduct regular visits to residential programs to evaluate service efficacy, identify needs, and implement improvements.

        Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports, including Assistant Residential Director(s), House Managers, and other team members ensuring adherence to organizational policies and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Ensure that direct reports are prepared for meetings and fulfill their operational responsibilities, including staffing plans, clinical reports, and incident documentation.

          Conduct regular supervision sessions and team meetings, providing guidance and support to direct reports and addressing any performance issues proactively.

            Manage staffing requirements across all residential programs, ensuring they meet standards and are maintained efficiently assuring direct reports adhere to crisis management procedures, incident reporting, staffing, and clinical standards.

              Ensure staff are trained in all relevant procedures and protocols, including crisis management, incident reporting, and clinical standards.

                Ensure timely completion of notifications, incident reporting, and documentation to funding sources and regulatory agencies.

                  Provide input into operating and capital budgets, and manage residential program budgets, including overtime use.

                    Oversee the maintenance and safety of residential facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and conducive to resident well-being. Oversee the care and cleanliness of all vehicles used to transport residents. Coordinate with the Director of Adaptive Design and Automotive Services on necessary repairs and improvements.

                      Foster and maintain professional partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and information sharing. Works closely with the Director of Nursing and other departments to maintain the health and well-being of residents and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

                        Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, select, and retain highly qualified staff, ensuring that the children's residential program is adequately always staffed.

                          Conduct or assist with investigations into incidents, complaints, or other issues, ensuring that corrective action plans are completed and submitted to relevant parties in a timely manner.

                            Actively participate in Crystal Springs' leadership team contributing to the overall success and strategic direction of residential services.

                              Functions as an ambassador and liaison for Crystal Springs.

                                Experience

                                • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field preferred; Minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in Human Services is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
                                • Experience in Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Trauma-Informed Care, and ABA strategies are preferred.

                                Certifications

                                • CPR, First Aid, MAP, and non-violent physical intervention certifications are preferred; must obtain certifications within 4 months of hire and maintain them during employment.

                                Licenses

                                • Must have an active driver’s license in state of residence that is current, valid, and in good standing with reliable transportation.

                                • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
                                • Ability to learn and use other software related to the position such as payroll processing, HRIS, etc.

Physical interventions such as running, climbing stairs, bending, lifting and carrying people or objects which vary in weight may be necessary from time to time.

                                Work Conditions

                                • Work is typically performed in an office environment, within residential homes where Crystal Springs residents reside, and in the community.

                                Special Schedule

                                • Normal business hours: At times, must be willing to work beyond normal business hours as driven by operational needs.
                                • On-call responsibilities and schedule flexibility are required for this position.

                                Travel Demands

                                • Occasional local travel may be required occasionally to support the objectives of business units within Crystal Springs.

                                • Ability to provide leadership in developing and implementing the goals and objectives outlined in the strategic plan, and coordinate the cross-functional, mission critical work of the organization.
