Position: Speech and Language Pathologist
Duty Hours: Full Time, 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday

Butte County offers a relaxed lifestyle with city-style amenities, great schools and a short 15-20 minute drive to Chico, CA for dining, arts, and outdoor activities. Competitive Compensation & Recruitment Incentive
Salary: $68,954-$130,532. Salary placement depending on previous SLP employment experience, post-graduate units and degrees awarded.
Recruitment Bonus: We are offering a recruitment bonus of up to $10,000 structured as follows:
* $3,500 at the start of Year 1 (Year 1 payments require completion of at least 75% of the work year; otherwise, the first installment will be postponed to the next eligible vesting date)
* $3,500 at the start of Year 2
* $3,000 at the start of Year 3 Each installment is contingent upon continued full-time employment through the September payroll of the applicable year. Bonus amounts are prorated by FTE and are separate from the salary schedule.
Outstanding Benefits: The district contributes $12,500 annually towards Health & Welfare benefits and a $1,500 annual 403b district match available to all staff. This position also qualifies for CalSTRS retirement.

Requirements: All candidates are required to hold a valid Speech Language Pathology Services Credential or Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential. Applicants who do not currently hold the required credential may be considered, provided they are able to obtain the appropriate credential.
Work Year: Vacancies starting 2025-26 School Year (August 08, 2025 - June 06, 2026) 184 duty days per year (11-month work year). Positions also available 2026-27 School Year (August 10, 2026 - June 10, 2026) 184 days per year (11-month work year). These are ongoing assignments.
